La petición del cliente en este caso era la creación desde cero de la marca y la aplicación de la misma a diferentes soportes, sobretodo textil.

Frankenstein es una charanga formada por músicos venidos de diferentes bandas, con el ánimo de crear una asociación con muy buena onda y bien organizada. Se sienten como pedazos unidos para crear un monstruo genial.

In this case the request of the client was the creation of the brand from scratch and its application to different supports, mostly textile.

Frankenstein is a “charanga” (group of a few musicians who plays by the streets) made up of musicians from different bands, with the aim of creating a well-organized association with good vibes. They feel like pieces together to create an amazing monster.

En el briefing la única petición fue que apareciese la cara del carismático personaje en el diseño. Para darle el toque monstruoso, me basé en los carteles que anunciaban las películas de Frankenstein en los años 30. Conservando la estética básica, la composición, así como la actitud del monstruo, y añadiendo toques actuales con el uso prácticamente plano del color se consigue un imagotipo reconocible, visible y fresco que queda en la retina de aquel que lo ve.

The only request in the briefing was to have the face of the charismatic character to appear in the design. To give it the monstrous touch, I focused on the posters that announced the Frankenstein films in the 30s. Preserving the basic aesthetics, composition, as well as the attitude of the monster, and adding current touches with the practically flat use of colour is achieved a recognizable, visible and fresh imagotype that remains in the retina of those who see it.
